Data we collect
When you use NexusSend, we collect the minimum data required to operate the service:
- Account information from Google Sign-In (name, email, profile image).
- OAuth credential metadata required to keep your Google connection active.
- Email operation records (for example send status, recipient, subject, and failure diagnostics).
- Content you create in the product, such as templates and draft values.
- Support details you submit through our contact form.
Gmail API data and scopes
NexusSend uses Google OAuth with limited scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.sendto send email on your behalf.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonlyto read message metadata/snippets for dashboard inbox features.
NexusSend does **not** request https://mail.google.com/ full mailbox access.
NexusSend adheres to the [Google API Services User Data Policy](https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including applicable Limited Use requirements.
We only access Gmail data when you explicitly connect Google and use related product features.
How we use data
We use collected data to:
- Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions.
- Send Gmail messages requested by the user.
- Display inbox summaries, template previews, and send history.
- Troubleshoot failed operations and improve reliability.
- Meet legal, security, and fraud-prevention requirements.
We do not sell personal data.
Data retention and deletion
- Templates and drafts are retained until you delete them.
- Send history is retained to provide delivery diagnostics and operational auditability.
- Gmail OAuth credentials are retained while your account remains connected.
- You can revoke Google access at any time in your Google Account permissions.
If you request account deletion, we remove or anonymize data as required by law and operational necessity.
Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only with service providers needed to run NexusSend, such as hosting, database, and email infrastructure providers.
We may disclose information when legally required or to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.
Security measures
NexusSend uses controls including:
- TLS in transit.
- Secure session handling and authentication controls.
- Encryption of sensitive OAuth credentials at rest.
- Access control and logging for operational security.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We continuously improve controls as threats evolve.
Your controls
You can:
- Disconnect your Google account.
- Revoke NexusSend in Google security settings.
- Request correction or deletion of account data by contacting support.
